On my second day adventuring, I take a dip in Pistyl Gwyn waterfall and make my way along Bwlch Drws-Ardudwy valley between Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach. The rest of the day was gruelling as hell; a pathless, 500m ascent up the westerly flanks of Rhinog Fawr, over boulders, boggy ground & deep heather. My map skills (and patience) were tested, but I was rewarded for my efforts with the most beautiful views over Gloyw Lyn, where I made camp for the night at 400m, in total solitude as the sun went down. 💚 Before you go Adventuring!
