Another Lightweight Camping Tent Fail • Strong Winds vs X-Dome 1

My first mountain camp with my X-Dome 1 didn’t get very far. For your info this is a summary of the tent breaking, the weather conditions and forecasts on the day, the capabilities of the tent according to the manufacturer’s website and some info and updates too I went back to this area the next day and it was absolutely beautiful, with a majestic cloud inversion too 😍 see that one here: https://youtu.be/eeadd4wLMGY 🆕 UPDATE 10/02/25: Dan informs me that the next batch will be manufactured with metal corner tabs and an extra tie-out point on each leg so there's a good chance I'll get on better with it next time!
