A Winter Mountain Adventure • Solo Backpacking in Eryri • Moel Siabod Part 1

I set out nervously for this hike, with a horrendous weather forecast making me wonder if I should be going at all. But while it was hard going with such a heavy rucksack in such bad weather, I was very fortunate as the weather cleared as I approached the summit of 872m Moel Siabod, so I had stunning views (while hanging onto the trig point to stop from being blown over haha) and even got my tent up before the hail started up again I had originally planned to attempt my first ridge by ascending via Daear Ddu, but it would have been too dangerous in this weather, so that’ll wait for another time 🎥 Watch Day 2 here: https://youtu.be/gd2XMWunI3k 💚 Before you go Adventuring!
