3 Wild Nights in the Mountains • A Snowdon Adventure • DAY 1

On day one, I begin my journey following the north edge of the Llyn Gwynant through woodland before visiting some beautiful waterfalls. From here I get onto the Watkin path and make camp on a rise away from the path, with a view of Snowdon (although he kept his head in the clouds!) and had some rest before the main ascent the next day. This is the first day of a three day trip, which was a 15 mile / 24km circular route along Llyn Gwynant, up Snowdon via the Watkin Path, down via the Miners Track, and then following Afon Glaslyn through the Llyn Gwynant valley back to where I started. It was the most challenging hike I've ever done due to the weather (extremely wet!) and the Watkin path (extremely scary!), but it was also a totally awesome experience :D As always, respect our beautiful places and Leave No Trace wherever you go 💚 Before you go Adventuring!
