EASY T-Shirt Quilt How to | Whitney Sews

Learn how to make a t-shirt quilt from start to finish in this Whitney Sews tutorial! I made this custom design quilt for my daughter who loves Mickey and Minnie. I had collected several t-shirts over the years and decided to use them all together in this special quilt. In the video I go over how to prep and cut the t-shirts as well as create a unique, improve style layout. This allows you to do less math, but create a one of a kind keepsake. For the backing I selected a sweatshirt knit (my go-to backing for t-shirt quilts) and finished it in a blanket style instead of actually quilting and binding it.
