The Pearse Lyons Irish Whiskey Distillery is housed in the former St James' Church and opened its doors to visitors in 2017. It is the only distillery in Dublin that is entirely family-owned. The distillery's range includes the Blended Whiskeys Pearse Orinial 5 years and Pearse Distiller's Choice 7 years, as well as the Single Malt Whiskey Pearse Founder's Coice. The Dublin distillery is also launching Ha'Penny Original Whiskey, a blend of Irish Malt and Grain Whiskeys. The Pearse Whiskey bottles feature the coat of arms with lions and the distillery's motto ‘Noli irritare Leonis’, which translates as ‘Don't annoy the lions’. The Pearse Lyons distillery is located in Dublin's historic neighbourhood of The Liberties. Dozens of breweries and distilleries were once located there. The small batch Whiskey is produced in the restored 18th century St James Church, which has been converted into a distillery.
