It was officially founded in 1784 by Hugh Anderson in the Northern Irish town of Bushmills. Since then, Bushmills has been synonymous with traditionally triple-distilled, mild Irish Whiskey. Today, the distillery is one of Ireland's best-known names and combines centuries-old craftsmanship with an unmistakable flavour. After Midleton Distillery Bushmills is the second biggest Irish distillery with an annual production capacity of 4.5 mio liters and stills are running seven days a week.
