It processes sugar cane from eight of the world's top sugar cane producing countries: Barbados, Bélize, Brazil, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras and Guyana. The rums are matured for up to 15 years before they are blended with natural flavours, as the sailors of the 16th and 17th centuries once did.
