the Chitu Plate Cycler on Amazon

I tested the Chitu Systems Plate Cycler on my Bambu Lab A1 Mini to see if the multi-plate “print and dump” idea is actually useful or just marketing. It can work, but in my experience it took real tinkering—alignment tweaks, a tray lip that needed cutting/sanding, and even a magnet that popped out early on.

Pros

  • +Clever multi-plate automation concept for the A1 Mini
  • +When dialed in, it can successfully cycle plates and finish multi-plate jobs
  • +Most components felt solid and the kit was well packed

Cons

  • -Not beginner-friendly: alignment and workflow details were vague
  • -Last-plate pickup failures until I modified the tray (cut/sand)
  • -A tray magnet came loose in under 20 cycles in my testing
