In this video I’m giving you a quick, honest look at a DGAZ (DGAS?) bag insert that was gifted to me and made specifically for my Coach Brooklyn 34. I love the Brooklyn’s silhouette, but let’s be real—it’s a bottomless, empty black hole inside. I’m absolutely an insert kind of gal, so when they reached out, I jumped at the chance because I prefer a bit more structure and some real organization for everyday. I show you how the insert slips in and out, why I chose a lighter color (so you can actually see your things), and how it changes the feel of the bag without ruining that beautiful slouchy full grain leather. The outside of the insert is structured enough to help the Brooklyn stand up and feel more “together,” but the inside is this soft, silky material with compartments that I actually use. I pack it up with my usual staples (and some extras), point out the zipper pocket for securing items in an open tote, and even test my 14-inch MacBook Pro—spoiler: it’s a no for me because it sticks out of the top. Overall, if you love the Brooklyn 34 but want it to feel more elevated and functional, this insert really helps.
