In today’s video I’m finally sharing a true one-year review of my Polène Mokki in Ebony—because I’ve actually lived with this bag through everyday life, travel, and busy mom days. I bought it as soon as it released (I held off… maybe a few days), because the silhouette instantly grabbed me. It also gave me that same feeling as my very first “adult bag” (my old Coach Legacy flap), so the Ebony color was always going to be the one for me. I walk you through the design details I love—those gorgeous folds and pleats, the minimal gold hardware, the feet (yes, I love feet on a bag), and the mix of pebbled leather with that smooth leather section that I’m constantly touching like a weirdo because it feels so good. I also keep it real about what’s not perfect. The biggest thing that gets on my nerves is the width—I’ve learned I prefer a more slender profile—but I’m willing to forgive it because it slims toward the top and wears comfortably crossbody. Inside, the simple center divider works for me (and I usually hate dividers), but I do wish it had a back pocket 1 million percent.
