In this January Favorites video, I’m kicking off a new monthly series for 2026 where I share what I’m genuinely using and loving in real life—self-care, skincare, and of course a little handbag moment (because you know that’s my home base). With kids home for e-learning and weather doing the most here in the Carolinas, I leaned into simplicity and just hit record anyway. And honestly? That’s kind of the vibe of these favorites: cozy, practical, and actually working for me right now. I talk through the skincare staples that are helping me get a better handle on my skin in this season—especially as I’m dealing with hormonal acne (it is what it is). Bioderma is my tried-and-true makeup remover that I’ve repurchased forever, and I share a few newer wins like a blemish treatment that works overnight (even though it smells awful), plus Natorium serums that give me results without the “why is this $100+” price tag. I also share a deodorant that’s stayed in my rotation, a hand salve that converted me into actually caring for my hands again, and a shampoo that seriously changed my hair texture. And yes—my favorite bag is still very much a favorite. I’m calling her my official mom bag: casual when I need it, polished when I want it, and big enough for basically the kitchen sink (including lotion). I’m working on loving what I rock, enjoying what I have, and not overthinking it—because if I’m wearing it and enjoying it, it’s not a waste.
