I’m back in the shop with Part 2 of that collection that walked in, and this time we’re flipping through albums that are heavy on silver and American history. First up is Series 2 of the National Commemorative Society set—.999 fine silver medals that cover big moments and figures from U.S. history. If you’re a stacker, you’ll like the silver content. If you’re a history person, you’ll like the designs and the stories they’re trying to tell. After that, I dig into a full Great American Coins album. This is the kind of stuff I like showing because it’s not always the same “everyday” silver—you get a mix of collectible pieces and oddball finds that make coin shop walk-ins fun. I give my thoughts as I go, talk through what I’m seeing, and point out what matters to me: the silver, the condition, and whether it’s something you just don’t run across all the time.
