The great British seaside. It has a fascinating allure for me. Once grand seaside towns can be found all around the UK. Their appeal is fading and their reality is changing. Fading appeal is never far from the seafront. Crumbling architecture and broken dreams showcase a once prosperous tourism industry decimated by cheap package holidays abroad, social change and a cost of living crisis. I exploring these places endlessly fascinating. It epitomises broken Britain. I am joined by @BackpackerBen as we walk the seafront and streets of Torquay in Devon. We compare the marina with the rough back streets and meet the locals.
