I spent a day with a saint in Benidorm Spain! #homeless #spain #benidorm #british #expat Join me as I spend the day with Jonny, a British expat living in Benidorm Spain. He is a professional musician, ex addict and formerly homeless. Jonny now dedicates his days to helping others in the community he lives. He delivers meals, supplies, support, advice and much more to the homeless population of Benidorm on behalf of local charity Project 4 All. I think many will be surprised at the stories of many of the homeless people in this video. Benidorm is synonymous with being a large and bustling tourist hotspot that attracts plenty of Brits and other Europeans. It also attracts many expat nationals, particularly British, to permanently locate. For some of these expats, their dream of a new life in the Mediterranean sunshine can turn into a nightmare. Some lose everything and end of sleeping rough on the streets. I join Jonny on his mission to help these individuals and he helps me understand their unique situations with empathy.
