On October 12th, the Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism & Investment made an announcement that, if passed through legislation, will affect Working Holiday Visa holders who find themselves in the following situations: 2:00 - People who were granted a WHV but were unable to come to Australia due to Covid 2:50 - People who were already in Australia but had to leave early due to Covid 4:00 - And people who were granted a WHV, have since gone over the age limit and still want to come to Australia on a WHV in future.
