About This Video

In this build, I put together a high-end gaming PC that lands at around (and definitely over) the $3500 mark. It’s been a while since I’ve done a full build, so I went all-in with a clean black-and-white theme using the ROG Strix B860-A Gaming WiFi motherboard—honestly, I love the white/black design on it. For the CPU, I’m using the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (I’m still getting used to Intel’s new naming), paired with 32GB of DDR5 that just looks gorgeous on the board. From there, I prep the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Core II AIO (fans already attached, which saves a ton of time), plan airflow with the radiator as exhaust, and add intake support in the MasterBox TD500 Mesh V2. Power comes from the Cooler Master GX III 850 Gold, and once everything’s wired up (my least favorite part), I apply thermal paste using my preferred method for Intel’s rectangular heatspreader. The fun twist is choosing the GPU by spinning a wheel—this time it landed on the MSI RTX 5080, which is absolutely massive. Even after putting the panels on before first boot (ambitious, I know), it fired up with everything spinning and RGB lit.
