I focus on how to get a believable scene fast by controlling water, simplifying shapes, and letting the brush do multiple jobs—big washes, soft transitions, and small accents—without constantly switching gear. I also talk through the mindset that helps beginners: don’t overwork it, don’t chase tiny details too early, and use value (light and dark) to create depth quickly. When you limit yourself to one brush, you naturally paint more loosely, which is exactly what most landscapes need.
