Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed of the UAE with Institute Exec. Dir. Dr. Robert Satloff

In the fall of 2021, Washington Institute Segal Executive Director Dr. Robert Satloff, the Howard P. Berkowitz Chair in U.S. Middle East Policy, interviewed Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was then the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, on the occasion of presenting him with the Institute's Scholar-Statesman Award for "his leadership in establishing a full peace between the United Arab Emirates and Israel and his commitment to religious tolerance." In September 2022, Sheikh Zayed was elected the president of the UAE. This is a short excerpt from the 2021 conversation.
