Wondering about the monthly living costs? Let's break it down for you. Housing costs in Sicily can vary depending on the location and size of the accommodation. On average, you can expect to pay around 500 to 800 euros per month for a one-bedroom apartment in the city center. Grocery expenses in Sicily are relatively affordable compared to other European countries. A monthly budget of 200 to 300 euros per person should cover your basic food needs. Transportation costs in Sicily are also reasonable. A monthly pass for public transportation will cost you around 30 to 50 euros. Utilities such as electricity, water, heating, and garbage will add up to about 100 to 150 euros per month. Internet and mobile phone services will cost an additional 20 to 30 euros each. Overall, as an expat living in Sicily, you can expect to spend around 1000 to 1500 euros per month on your basic living expenses. Of course, this is just a rough estimate, and actual costs may vary.
