Wow, this trip was hot. The temperature on the streets and beaches was ridiculous at times, and the light was harsh and contrasty. I usually get some interesting pictures in Bournemouth, and this trip was no exception, but that heat... My style of street photography has evolved over the years from the 'sit and wait for something to happen' approach that I employed for so many years to the reactionary straight-from-the-hip style that I use today. I blame Raymond Depardon for that. His book 'Manhattan Out' was a light-bulb moment in my career :) Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking at Bournemouth through my lens and don't forget to ask any questions you have in the comments below.
