We live a few miles south of Blackpool, and it's a place where I spend a lot of time shooting. From the end of the main holiday season until November, the famous illuminations are switched on. Over the illumination weekends, the atmosphere can be very special and I often pop into town to photograph it. This POV video was recorded as I made a couple of trips into Blackpool at night. I wanted to capture the light and the people. However, my usual camera - the Leica M Monochrom - had been involved in an accident and was being repaired, so I had to use my old Leica M9. I also had a loaner 28mm lens as my lens was being serviced. Thanks to Leica UK for helping me with that. I hope you like seeing Blackpool at night through my eyes.
