I played with the Danessa Myricks Groundwork Defining Neutrals palette as a true first impression—swatches, cheek contour/bronzer attempts, and a quick neutral eye. The eye look came out beautiful and easy, but I had a weird spot/dot issue when I first used a cream shade on my cheek. For me, it’s nice, but I don’t see myself reaching for an all-matte palette constantly.

Cons
- -Cream cheek application gave me a strange spot/dot that wouldn’t wipe off
- -Powder pans are very small for face use
- -All-matte isn’t my personal everyday preference
