It's been a pretty decent Father's Day with highs in the low 70s and dry conditions. Overnight will be a different story. Rain returns in abundance with heavy downpours possible. Be prepared for some slowdowns to your morning drive. High rainfall rates will lead to ponding on the roads. Give yourself some extra time and avoid standing water. Many areas will pick up over 1" of rain and that could lead to some localized flooding.
