An amazing encounter in the most ideal scenario of flat water, great light, and an incredible adult bald eagle casting a perfect reflection in the water. I got to spend some time watching this magnificent eagle bath in the shallow water and got some of my favorite eagle shots to date shooting with the Nikon Z9. I also managed to track down a Northern Hawk Owl who had captured a red vole.
