In this video I’m debunking one of the biggest myths people get from watching “programmer life” content on YouTube. Online it can look like programming is just working from home, traveling, pressing keys, writing a bit of code, and getting huge money for it. But in real life, programming is not easy. It takes a lot of time, effort, patience, and constant learning, and you will face errors and problems that look unsolvable at first. I also explain how to make learning more understandable and effective, especially if you’re a beginner. The first step is choosing a clear direction (web dev front-end/back-end/full-stack, or game dev, etc.), because each path needs different tools and technologies. Then you build a simple learning algorithm: pick one language, learn fundamentals, move to frameworks and libraries, and practice with small projects. If you stop jumping between topics and follow a sequential plan, you’ll reduce confusion, learn faster, and actually build the perseverance you need to succeed in tech.
