Today I have for you all a new wavy sweater pattern that uses the Long Wave Stitch, which I made to be easy to remember! This sweater uses two different colors to form this fun, wavy pattern. Materials: Stylecraft Life DK in "Ice Blue" and "Silver Grey": https://amzn.to/46XIeUH - Weight: DK / Light Worsted - Fiber: 75% Acrylic, 25% Wool - Approximate total weight: 230g Ice Blue, 200g Silver Grey 4.0 mm Clover Amour Crochet Hook: https://amzn.to/3noE9mz Yarn Needle Scissors Dimensions: All Ribbing - 4 cm / 1.6" wide Back and Front Panels (including ribbing) - 47 cm / 18.5" long x 44 cm / 17.3" wide Sleeves (including ribbing) - 45 cm / 17.7" in Gauge: 20 stitches (1.6 waves) - 4.5 sets of rows (1 set = sc row + wave stitch row) = 4 in / 10 cm Project Level: This project is most suitable for more intermediate crocheters! This is not the best project for absolute beginners because it uses many different stitches to achieve the different heights in the wave. Once you nail these basic stitches, the sweater should work up easily! There is slip stitching to assemble the pieces together, but it can be substituted for sewing. Also, there are stitches done in the back loop only (blo) and color changes. Stitches: Slip Knot (sk) Chain (ch) Single Crochet (sc) Half Double Crochet (hdc) Double Crochet (dc) Treble Crochet (tr) Slip Stitch (sl st) Tips: - The chain(s) at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a stitch - Use the wave stitch in the front or back panel as a gauge swatch to determine the size of the sleeves - Make sure everything is turned inside out before stitching - Pull your loose ends to the inside of the sweater and weave them in (or leave them hanging!) Send me a picture of your finished sweater on Instagram @viv.crochets! I’d love to see it! Thanks for watching!
