Geometric Heart-Shaped Shoulder Bag Crochet Tutorial | Crochet Heart-Shaped Purse Tutorial

I forgot to mention that I used a 4.5mm hook to minimize holes! Hi again! I spent a long time trying to come up with a fun tutorial for this coming Valentine's Day, and I realized that there aren't many heart-shaped purses out there. I can sort of see why, since they aren't super functional, but they are super cute! Still, my heart purse can hold all of my essentials, including my phone, lip balm, and car keys! This crochet tutorial is slightly different from my usual tutorials because I have a new desk and microphone! The editing is also a little different because I talked into the microphone while filming instead of doing a voiceover in post production. Please let me know which you prefer in the comments! This project is more for advanced beginners because it there is sewing and crochet different shapes! However, I do go over every single stitch and technique that I use to guide you along the way. Stitches: Slip Knot (sk) Chain (ch) Single Crochet (sc) Materials: Premier Just Cotton yarn from my local Dollar Tree in the colors "Hazelnut," "Faded Denim," "Dusty Rose," and "Sage" - Weight: Medium (4) - Fiber: 85% Cotton, 15% Polyester - Approximate total length: 131 yd / 120 m - Approximate total weight: 2.65 oz / 75 g 4.5 mm Clover Amour Crochet Hook (Amazon affiliate link): https://amzn.to/3noE9mz Yarn Needle Scissors Gauge: 18 sc - 20 rows = 4 in / 10 cm Dimensions: Widest Section - 17 cm/6.7" long Strap - 40 cm/15.75" long Tips: - Attach the strap further up the side of the heart to keep it from flapping - The chain 1 at the beginning of each row does NOT count as a single crochet - Pull your loose ends to the inside of the bag and weave them in (or leave them hanging!)
