Easy Crochet Crop Sweater Tutorial | Lemonade Sweater

For the past couple of weeks, I've been working on this crochet crop sweater pattern! It is finally done and I hope you like it! I call this the lemonade sweater because it is yellow (obviously), the yarn I used is called lemon drops, and it uses the lemon peel stitch. I can't wait to make a pink lemonade sweater! This is an easy, beginner sweater pattern that has a beautiful texture. It is a simple, yet elegant design and can be made to fit any size! This crochet sweater is light, but warm and uses the absolute beginner crochet stitches. The only stitches you need to know to make this sweater are chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), and foundation half double crochet (fhdc, optional). The yarn that I used to make this sweater is Cotton Fair in the color Lemon Drops by Premier Yarns. This is a size 2 yarn and it recommends a size 4.5 mm hook. I used a 3.5 mm hook because I prefer the stitches to be closer together, so it will be less hole-y. You are definitely free to used different sizes of yarn and crochet hook because this pattern is easily adjustable.
