Crochet Bernie Sanders Amigurumi Doll Tutorial | Patterns

You've probably seen that meme floating around with Bernie Sanders at the inauguration. Here is a full tutorial on how to crochet a Bernie Sanders amigurumi doll! This pattern consists of a magic circle, slip knots, slip stitches, and most importantly, single crochets. These are super basic stitches, but the pattern as a whole is more for an intermediate crocheter. Hopefully, I explain it well enough that even a beginner can do it! The finished product is roughly 5 inches long. I used mostly scrap yarn in Red Heart Super Saver, which is a size 4 yarn. For the coat, I used a thinner yarn (size 1/2) and the hook size is 3.5 mm.
