About This Video

In this video, I walk you through the complete Namecheap hosting setup from start to finish—super fast and beginner-friendly. First, I show you how to connect your domain to your hosting. If your domain and hosting are in the same Namecheap account, you just switch to the Namecheap Hosting DNS from the dropdown. And if your domain is from another provider (like GoDaddy), I show you exactly where to paste the Namecheap nameservers (dns1.namecheaphosting.com and dns2.namecheaphosting.com) and save it. After that, I jump into cPanel and show you how to access it from the Namecheap hosting area. Then I explain how to add multiple domains using Addon Domains so you can host more than one site on the same plan. Next, I install SSL from inside cPanel using the Namecheap SSL tool—just turn it on and wait a bit (it took under 10 minutes for me). I also create a business email account, show you how to generate a password, set storage, and open webmail to confirm it’s working. Finally, I install WordPress using Softaculous, set HTTPS, create admin login details, and your site is ready with SSL enabled.
