How to Enable or Disable Windows 10 Startup Sound and Disable System Beep Sound in Windows 10 To turn off Windows Startup Sound, you need to open your control panel app and for this just type control panel in the search bar beside windows 10 menu. Then open the control panel app and sort out the program categories by small icons. Find out the sound option and open it. Then click on the sound tab. At the bottom, you will find the play windows start up sound option. It should be enabled as default. You just need to uncheck this windows start up sound option to disable your startup sound. Now click on apply. Now let’s disable the system beep sound. Just scroll down the program events menu and find out the default beep option. Click on it and you will find a setting option is enabled. Now click on that drop-down menu, scroll up to the top and select this none option. Now click on apply and click on okay. So, we are done with the settings.
