Add all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Cut butter into small cubes and all to dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter or two knives, cut the butter into the dry ingredients until well blended. Make a hole in the flour and all a small amount of milk, mixing as little as possible. Add the rest of the milk to the dry areas. Dump onto a floured surface and hand kneed until combined. Flatten to about 1/2-1 inch. Using a cup, cutter or whatever you have about the size of a biscuit. Cut them out and place onto a baking sheet. Mix the leftover dough and flatten again until you have very little dough left. Bake biscuits for 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
