In this walkaround, I’m checking out the refreshed 2026 Honda Pilot Black Edition in Platinum White Pearl with the black interior. Big thanks to Perfection Honda in Rio Rancho for letting me film it. The Black Edition is the highest trim you can get on the Pilot (Sport, EX-L, Touring, TrailSport, Elite, then Black Edition), and the whole point is simple: you want all the Elite features, but you want less chrome and more blacked-out accents. For 2026, Honda tweaks the front fascia and adds more tech, and I show you what’s actually new and what carries over. I go over the Black Edition styling—blacked-out front end, full LED lighting, 20-inch Berlina Black wheels, black mirrors/roof rails/window trim, and the details in the rear (including my opinion that the chrome Honda badge should’ve been blacked out). This one also has factory-installed accessories like the protection package and a towing package, and I explain how the hands-free tailgate sensor gets relocated when you add the hitch. Inside, I break down the updated Black Edition cabin with the red stitching, new 2026 door stitching design, and the new quilted seat accents on Elite/Black Edition. Then I walk through the tech: the now-standard 10.2-inch digital cluster, the 12.3-inch touchscreen, Google built-in (and the fact that “Hey Google” is off by default), plus the cameras, drive modes, and the key fob features like remote start behavior.
