Getting sick while running your own business is like a double whammy. As a small business owner, we have a laundry list of responsibilities that we have to get done and sometimes we are the only ones who know the marching orders so when we are down for the count, it brings things to a screeching halt. Of course getting sick in general is the pits but when you have your own list of to-do's with no back up plan, it's a whole other level of anxiety and worry. I was down for the count for about 10 days and I'm sharing a few things that I did to help curb my anxiety and stress and work on ways to manage expectations of not only myself but my customers from the level of care they were used to.
