The Watchers Short Film - A Movie About Life in 2020 (Twin Peaks Tribute)

This movie was built around the reality of us having instant access to everything these days and how that might have been seen from the perspective of someone from the past. Of course, I needed to somehow wrap our current reality in the story as well. I also needed to find a way to use a scene from Twin Peaks The Return Episode 8, which really made an impression on me. I admire David Lynch for taking chances and making movies and shows like no other filmmaker. I have another cut of the movie with a different tone in mind that I may publish at a later date. I came up with the idea to make a short movie 4-5 months ago inspired by all the things going on the past year. This lead to writing a script and subsequently performing multiple edits to said script. I told my wife that I had the craziest idea to make a movie and perform all the parts myself. She thought I was crazy but supported me. I shot the the first act, edited it, and sat on the footage for a while wondering if I should finish the movie. Then, I thought to myself that I needed to finish it even it came out horribly. As you can see, I have no formal acting training or filmmaking experience. I can only say that I have seen thousands of movies. So, I hope you like it. Also, I'm not sure about the title but it seemed obvious. I'm going with it for now.
