What fun I had creating my Vintage Inspired / Retro Americana characters! Even better that they're so budget friendly!! I originally designed Pepperpot Sam, as a chef, several years ago. Back then he was 2D (a painting), had a moustache without a goatee & made gourmet food & coffee. His specialty is pepperpot soup, which is a local favorite. He sprang to mind when I was pondering what I would make for the First Friday Patriotic Challenge. #firstfridaychallenge. I thought, "Yo! He'd make a really cute Uncle Sam character" So, that's where the name Pepperpot Sam comes from. I thought it would be funny to have him plugging his ears. It's something you would see in a very old, vintage cartoon!
