EP 11: It's Time to Get Out of this Beautiful Mosquito Infested Base of the Sharkstooth "...To The Sharkstooth" - Episode 11. Welcome to Ultimate Survival Gear! This is Episode 11 of "...To The Sharkstooth". Today, I am out in the field again to test some new gear as well as my own abilities. This time, my hiking adventure is taking place in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Fortunately, because I wasn't able to get access to the starting point of the hike (due to Colorado's heavy regulations), I had to use a different starting point, which was located twice as far. And so, my journey turned into a 20-mile in and out hike. I did not have sleeping arrangements with me, so camping out was not an option. Camping out probably would not have been an option anyway because of Colorado's heavy regulations... My final destination is the Sky Pond. Sky Pond hike turned out to be much more complicated than I expected, which is good, because I had an opportunity to test my endurance. I never hiked that much in a day before, so it was definitely a challenge, especially the Sky Pond waterfall climb at the end of the trail.
