Captify’s smart glasses are built around live captioning for real-world conversations, and in my testing that core feature works really well with only the odd word missed. On top of that, you get translations and discreet notifications (including WhatsApp readouts via the built-in speakers), which feel like genuinely useful extras.

- -Translation can struggle with fast speech or background noise
- -Translation and notifications require a phone with an internet connection
- -At certain angles the display/squares can give away that they’re smart glasses
