Jane Root, CEO of Nutopia, reveals her strategy for building and developing a slate of subscription video on demand (SVoD) programming and explores what works and what doesn’t. Jane Root is the former president of Discovery Networks and Controller of BBC Two, she founded production company Nutopia in 2008. Known for premium specialist factual content on a global scale, recent credits include One Strange Rock with Will Smith (Nat Geo, Westbrook Inc), The Last Czars (Netflix), The World According to Jeff Goldblum (Disney+), and, currently in production, Limitless with Chris Hemsworth (Nat Geo).
