ScreenSkills has launched a new training programme, delivered by Make-Up United Artists, to transfer hairdressers and make-up artists working with Black hair or make-up for people of colour into film and high end television. To launch the training programme, a panel was held on 20 January 2022 with industry professionals. They reflected on how they got their start in film and tv. The panellists were managing director of Make-Up United Artists, Amanda Gaffey and hair and make-up designers and artists Allison Edwards, Fiona Lobo Cranston and Marcia Blackwood.
