Desiree Ivegbuna explains the role of an assistant editor in the TV industry. She reveals how she got into editing, her highs (seeing what she’s edited on TV) and why she wanted to get out of the machine room as quickly as possible. Desiree also talks about being a black woman in an industry that’s dominated by white middle-class men. About Desiree Ivegbuna Desiree Ivegbuna has more than eight years experience in the television industry. She started as a runner and has worked her way up to work on some of Britain's biggest series including Disney+ series The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Sky One's The Heist, Channel 4's The Island with Bear Grylls and Hunted.
