On May 4, 2025, the first-in-human bladder transplant was successfully completed at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The team was led by Dr. Nima Nassiri, assistant clinical professor of urology at the @UCLAGeffenSOM in a shared effort with Dr. Inderbir Gill, founding executive director of USC Urology at @KeckMedUSC.
