The seller made me a good offer and i bought it for $9. This is 5 times larger than aZippo lighter. As you can see is very rusted and damaged and to restore i used some simple techniques. First i started with disassembling the lighter. The shaft for the flint was destroyed but the other parts where ok. I sandblasted the big parts and the smaller parts i cleaned them on my mini thumbler with some sand and Rust remover mc51. On the insert i applied cold bluing to make it black.The case was electro nickelated and polished.After assembling i made a cool loking Phoenix bird on both side. I hope you like my work!
