Leaving camp on the Old Denali Highway, Rose and Chad ride deep into Alaska’s remote wilderness, following the Richardson and Alaska Highways toward the Yukon. Pressed for time but drawn by the journey, they take the long way via the Haines Highway, catching a ferry through one of North America’s longest fjords to the historic town of Skagway.
