The cut list: Basically the same as a 2x4 planter for the sides: 46 long side, 23 short side. You can get one of each from a cedar picket. This one being 3 pickets deep was 6 boards for the sides. Bottom, also 23 inches, should take 8 boards plus a partial, so another 3 pickets. Corner Legs, 30 inches by 1.75 wide, 2 boards per leg. 1 picket will get you 3 legs. (yes, you need 4) Middle Legs, 30 x 1.75, need 2 Inner supports, 15 x 1.75, need 6 (14 7/8 was used in the video due to having some left over 30 inch pieces) Bottom Frame, 2 ) 46 x 1.75s and 2) 23 x 1.75s Top Trim, 1.75 wide, Cut To Fit. Usually about 2) 47.5s and 2) 24.5s Figure on the one shown being about a 13 picket build. ($52 @ $4/picket, plus $5ish for Brads and Glue). These sold for $125 each. Adding a bottom shelf might seem like a good idea, but with the limited space between the 3rd picket deep and the bottom support, I don't think you will fit a brad nailer in there.
