Easy 3 Tier Herb Planter Build. Director's Cut.

The plans for these builds will be available at https://twoacre.us/plans soon. This project was inspired by @cedarriverwoodworking 's build of the smaller planter. I built his design, then decided it needed to be a bit taller. Of course when I showed my wife the two planters, she liked the shorter one. I kept this video long because it gives you a good look at my current woodworking shop. Hopefully we will see it grow and improve in future builds. Here is the link to the calculator used to calculate the measurements for the larger planter: https://www.calculator.net/right-triangle-calculator.html The only materials needed are 4 cedar pickets, 1 inch brad nails, and Titebond III wood glue. The cut list for the planter boxes is 3 pickets, cut at 5, 5, 16, 16, 16 inches. The cut list for the stands is: Rip one picket into 1.5 inch strips. Tall Stand: 2x 30 inch with square ends and 2x 34 5/8 inch with matching 30 degree angles. Short Stand: 2x 24 in with square ends and 2x 27 3/4 inch with matching 30 degree angles. For both designs, the rear support will be 17 1/4 inches, and you will need to measure the two side supports to fit your planter.
