They've introduced a new rule concerning AI usage in visual effects across videos. 🎥💻 From AI voiceovers to crafting VFX for ultra-realistic scenes, this update aims to enhance transparency and authenticity on the platform. 👀 Key Features Explained: As of March 18th, YouTube requires creators to notify viewers when content might be mistaken for reality due to altered or synthetic media. This includes: AI-generated realistic content 🤖 Altered footage of real events 🌍 Scenes that appear real but aren’t 🎬 📌 What Happens When You Upload? Creators will now see prompts in the Creator Studio, asking if their content: Makes a real person do or say something they didn't 🚫 Alters footage of real events or places 🔄 Generates realistic-looking scenes that didn’t occur ❌ If your content meets these criteria, you’ll need to select 'Yes', and a label will appear on your video to inform viewers: "Sounds or visuals were significantly edited or digitally generated." 🏷️ 📊 Sensitive Content: For topics like health or elections, this label will be prominently displayed to caution viewers about authenticity. 🗳️🩺 🤔 Exceptions & Confusions: Not all AI-generated content will require this warning.
