The REI Co-op Base Camp 6 is my #1 because it makes camping easy in pretty much any conditions. You get full-coverage weather protection, big vestibules for gear, great ventilation, and little details like reflective trim that matter at night. It’s car-camping only at around 20 lb and it’s not cheap, but once you stake it out properly it’s rock-solid in rain and wind and worth every penny if you camp a few times a year.
