Prompted by her personal commitment to working for those with poor health care services, Pauline Cutting first visited the Gaza Strip in 1990, when she joined the surgical staff of the Ahli Arab Hospital for six months. Return to Gaza documents her six-day return visit to Gaza in 1991. Re-united with her colleagues and ex-patients, she assesses conditions and progress, and concludes that the region's poor health care will not improve until the conflict ends.
